2026 New Hero Splendor Plus 125 Million Edition Finally Revealed First Look, Features Engine. Mileage, & Price

Hero MotoCorp has sprung a surprise by launching the 125 Million Edition of their legendary Splendor Plus! This isn’t a radical redesign for 2026 or a larger engine upgrade. Instead, it’s a celebratory edition commemorating 125 million motorcycles sold globally. Released discreetly in late 2025, it’s already gaining attention on Indian streets. If you’re in the market for a practical and reliable daily commuter that makes a statement, this stylish grey model is worth considering.

First Look

The bike immediately impresses with its Industrial Dark Grey finish, a sophisticated shade that exudes quality. Eschewing the typical black or red, Hero opted for matte black alloy wheels featuring eye-catching golden rim stripes that glimmer under streetlights.

Notice the fuel tank: a prominent 3D ‘125M’ badge takes center stage, accompanied by gold-finished ‘Hero’ and ‘Splendor Plus’ emblems. Brown and gold graphics adorn the sides, complemented by “Special Edition” decals on the tail section. The grab rail is finished in gloss black for a touch of elegance.

Features

Don’t expect excessive frills here – that’s part of the Splendor’s enduring appeal! It retains the dependable analogue-digital instrument cluster, halogen headlamp, and standard electric start. The i3S idle stop-start system remains, shutting off the engine at traffic stops to conserve fuel (and save you money).

Engine

Beneath the bodywork lies the time-tested 97.2cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. It produces 8 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of torque – sufficient pep for navigating city streets or rural roads. Coupled with a seamless 4-speed gearbox, it runs smoothly and quietly. Despite rumors, there’s no 125cc upgrade; however, this engine is OBD2B-compliant and extremely fuel-efficient.

Mileage

Hero claims a 70 kmpl mileage figure in mixed riding conditions – expect 60-65 kmpl in urban settings and up to 75 kmpl on open roads! A full 9.8-liter tank provides a range of over 600 km. The i3S technology further enhances fuel efficiency at traffic signals. It’s hard to beat that for a motorcycle in this price range!

Price

The ex-showroom price in Delhi? Just slightly more than the standard top-end variant. The on-road price will vary depending on your location. EMI options are attractive, and the Splendor’s resale value is excellent.
